- You are the second person telling that the latest Studio driver
- does fix the problem of too much ink on Stylus Color printers. I
- mean it┤s nice to hear things work fine now. But actually, the
- Studio V2.10d upgrade doesn┤t change anything for the Stylus
- Color family. The major update for the Epson Stylus Color family
- is not yet released. I hope this new update will be released in 2
- weeks. The update will offer:
-
- - The first and only calibration and setup program. This program
- will calibrate your printers print head and more. It will also
- allow easy setup of the printer by software instead of using the
- rather complicated printer panel.
-
- - a complete new set of profiles for 720dpi and various print
- modes and paper types. These profiles will offer a MAJOR quality
- improvement. They limit the amount of ink and you will also see
- more shades
-
- - Than the update will offer new output modules specificly made
- for the Stylus printers. This will further improve quality and
- print speed (for instance b/w on a SCII is much faster).
- - And more....
